Estimating software tends to promise automation it can't fully deliver, and then leaves the estimator holding a number they can't trace back to anything. We built PreConstruct AI around the opposite premise: AI should do the reading, and the estimator should always be able to see exactly where a number came from before they rely on it.

That's why every AI-extracted value carries a source — a document, a page, a location on the drawing — and why anything the system can't confidently resolve gets flagged instead of guessed. We'd rather show you uncertainty than hide it behind a confident-looking number.
